We have some exciting news to share regarding the ownership future of Urban Quarry and our founder, Laurent Bellavance.
Founder’s Retirement: After 35+ years of dedicated leadership, Urban Quarry Founder, Laurent Bellavance is preparing to embark on a new adventure: retirement. Laurent is stepping down from his role as CEO to focus on spending time with his family, nurturing his health and pursuing his passions which include woodworking and travel. His contributions to Urban Quarry have been immeasurable, and his legacy will forever be a part of our company’s fabric.

Management Buyout
With Laurent’s retirement on the horizon, we are pleased to announce the successful completion of a management buyout for the current executive team. This milestone marks a pivotal moment as we enter this new phase of our company’s history.
Continuity in Leadership
Serge Bellavance (VP, Sales and Marketing) and Mireille Bellavance (VP, Operations) will continue as co-owners while President, Bob Gould, and General Manager, Brian Gray, will now assume new ownership roles. This transition will not alter the roles and responsibilities of our dedicated executive team who have contributed significantly to the success of Urban Quarry.
